Overview
The checks for the selected tenants will commence after the contract has been countersigned, and will depend on the tenant's nationality.
If the tenant's nationality is British, English, Welsh, Scottish, Northern Irish, Irish, the right to rent check will commence:
Immediately after you have countersigned or tenant signed depending on your contract settings.
If tenant's nationality is not British, English, Welsh, Scottish, Northern Irish, Irish, then the right to rent check will commence:
28 before the contract start date.
Immediately if you have countersigned or and there are less than 28 days before the contract start date.
