Overview
With the new holding deposit feature you can collect a holding deposit from the tenants before they sign the tenancy.
The lead tenant must pay the holding deposit before they and other tenants receive the contract to sign.
If you countersign the tenancy, the holding deposit will be refunded to the lead tenant or converted to a tenancy deposit.
If you cancel the tenancy before countersigning it, you can choose whether you want to refund the holding deposit or keep it as a fee.
