Overview

A replacement tenancy can be created if the original tenancy:

  • Is fully signed.

  • Has not ended.

  • Has not been deleted.

  • Has not been cancelled.

  • Does not have a Deed of Assignment that is pending signatures.

  • Does not have any rent collections created for any of the tenants.

You can delete the replacement tenancy at any point up until you sign it and it will not impact the original tenancy.

Once the replacement tenancy is fully signed, the original tenancy is cancelled with the effective date set to the start date of the replacement.
